Odd Fellows Annual Picnic.

The annual Odd Fellows’ Picnic will be held this year at Water Valley on Saturday, Sept. 6th, under the auspices of Shelby Lodge No. 782 and Washington Rebekah Lodge No. 578. The speaker of the day will be Hon. Thos. J. Wood, of Crown Point, and Dr. Toliistons’ Band of the same place will furnish the music for the occasion. Among the amusements will be found. Old Men’s race; young men’s race; fat men’s race; married women’s race, bicycle and horseracing. A tug of war between 12 men from Newton county and 12 from Lake county will also be a feature of the day. Low rates are promised.
