Eugene Dilley In Town.

Eugene Dilley, whose wandering away from his home at Trafalgar, Ind., has been heretofore noted, was in town a short time Tuesday night and may still be some place near here in hiding. Jack Hoyes who lives a couple of miles from Surrey was returning home that evening, .and met Mr. Dilley about a mile and a half from town, out about R. B. Porter’s farm. He asked Dilley if he was going to town and be said he was. Mr. Hoyes thereupon turned around and brought him in, thinking to get him to a place for safe keeping. Mr. Dilley offered no objections to coming until they got into town, and when in front of Nelson Randle’s residence, he suddenly jumped from the buggy and ran away. - Mr. Hoyes immediately notified the authorities and a dilligent search was made headed by Nightwatch Childers and Constable Vick, but all efforts so far to locate the afflicted man has proved fruitless. It is thought that be wandered back this way, in moments of temporary relief from his mental affliction trying to reach his relatives who reside in this vicinity.
