Bad Accident In Goodland.

C. W. Hartley fretaHy Fatally tajtred. Goodland was the scene of a probably fatal accident about 3 or 4 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon. The victim was Ohas. W. Bartley, the well know and wealthy grain buyer and member of the Chicago Board of Trade. He was in some way caught in a pulley in his elevator at Goodland, ard terribly injured. One leg was crushed and ground to a pulp, and must be amputated. The other leg was broken and also one arm. At last accounts he had not sufficiently rallied from the shock to stand amputation; and it is very doubtful if he ever will. He is quite advanced in years.
