For a Short Campaign.

Candidates and party managers have commenced to look about and formulate plans for the coming campaign. It is not likely though that real work will begin until long abont the last of September. It is « Wise conclusion to make the campaign short. Six weeks will afford ample time to do all the work. There is no need of disturbing business and engendering bad blood among neighbors by a long campaign.
