Joe Hordeman In Georgia.

From a private letter we learn that Joseph F. Hordeman now Corporal of Company 1.16 th U. 8. Inst. has reoently arrived from the Philippines and is now at Fort MoPheson, Georgia. Sinoe the spring 1898* he says he has enlisted three times, onoe for tbe Spanish war, and twice for tbe Philippine war. He has orossed the Paoifio four times and this with other traveling he has done has made him perhaps Jasper county’s greatest traveler. In all he has traveled something like 38,000 or 40,000 miles. The last time he orossed the Paoifio it took them 28 days.
