Object to Sunday Excursions.
The Sunday excursions that are run into Indianapolis evidently disturb the residents of the Celestial home above as well as some of the dwellers on this lowly earth. Thus the City Clerk of Indianapolis has received two communications purporting to come from Heaven, but just how they manage to get hold of some of Unde Sam’s postal cards is not said, but both were written on that data of stationery. They were published in the Sun, (not in Heaven) but in Indianapolis. “Heaven, ’O2, 8. 5 “1 think the railway companies have a conscience of brass to dump the vomit of the state into the Capital city on Sunday. Why don’t they buy?” The other one arrived Monday ’3rd. On Sunday. “When decent people either stay at home and read to the children, or go to church, the city always smells bad on Monday. “Ez -a United States, Heaven.”
