Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Moffit, of Dyer, are visiting bis father and mother and other relatives this week, Mr. and Mrs. L. Kesseler are visiting their daughter, Mrs. Reese Dunn at DeMotte. Miss Carrie McKay has returned from Kirklin where she has been visiting relatives for several months. Miss Mildred Gundy is spending a few days this week with her aunt, Mrs. Elza Grow, in Rensselaer. Mi-s Con Gray, of Parr, Is visiting her aunt, Mrs. Kilyore, and other relatives. Mrs. Bessie Smith, of Gifford, accompanied by her father John Kimble and Dr. Washburn, went to Chicago last Sunday to have an operation performed. Bessie’s many friends hope for her complete recovery. Operator Harry Zimmerman is working days in Dyer this week. Ward Banes, of Sunnington, is filling his place hare.
