Born July 29th to Mr. and Mrs Sam Nol .nd, a girl. Mr. and Mrs. Frank May of Rem. ingtori and Mr. and Mrs. George ■Foulks of Milroy spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Otis Jacks, Miss Kate Wood of Monon is at the farm where she will entertain her cousin from Dakota for about ten days John Nowland left Saturday for South Dakota in company with Roy Matthews of Brookston Bo h are taking a pleasure trip but will work in the harvest while there. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Carrothers of Rensselaer are visiting home folks for several weeks as Clarence has obtained work in the harvest in this vicinity. An ice cream social will be given on the lawn at Mr. Gilmore’s next Saturday evening Aug. 9. The proceeds will be appl ed on ministers salary. Everybody come and have a good time. We will have plenty of good music and singing to entertain.
