Paul Jones, a wandering Pythian, reached Valparaiso, Monday morning on his way to San Francisco. Jones is seeking to reach the coast and win a wager of SIO,OOO. This fortune will come into possession if he succeeds in making his way to San Francisco in sixteen days, but be must not enjoy the luxury of riding in a passenger train.
