Northwest Barkley. Mrs Caster returned to her home □ear Gifford Monday. Those on th& Sick list are Mrs. Snow, Frank Hayes and Maggie Torbet, Church at Independence Sunday night was well attended. Hugh Gaffey and wife of near Wheatfield visited at George Daniels Sunday. Mr. Roby, wife and daughter did shopping in Rensselaer Monday, J. C. Watson and family of Gillam visited his son Sunday. The ice cream supper Saturday evening will be in George Daniels’ lawn instead of Independence. Roy Torbet’s Sunday school .class gave him quite a surprise Tuesday night it being his sixteenth birthday. Ice cream and cake were served. AU returned home at a late hour wishing Roy many such happy birthdays.
