Sam Howard Jumps His Bail.

Sam Howard, Warren Springer’s absconded and alleged embezzling foreman on his Walker tp., ranch has jumped his bail in Chicago ' and will have to be caught over again. The requisition papers were slow in getting around, and besides that his Chicago lawyers had a motion pending for a hearing on habias corpus proceedings, and therefore the judge reduced his bail to 1500. This was furnished and now Howard can not be found. The are after him again and think he will soon be located. In the meantime Deputy Prosecutor Parkison, who has been to a good deal of trouble in the matter, has at least the satisfaction of the assurance from the governor of Illinois that bis requisition papers, the first he ever made out, are all right, in every respect.
