Another Big, Bad Rain.
This region was visited by another big rain Sunday afternoon, and which continued at intervals until noon Monday. The Sunday afternoon rainfall here was .85 of inch. That of Sunday night and Monday, war .50; making in all a little more than inches. As much of the land was still full of wrier, a little below the surface, this amount has soaked the ground thoroughly. It will thas bevery injurious to the oats harvest, from |to J of which SOU remains andut. Much of this will be -a total Ipsa, but if dry weather now succeeds some can still be out with mowers, and late onto perhaps with binders. ‘ " The rain seems to have been general over this immediate region, but is thought to have been much heavier two or three miles north of town, than here.
