Death of Mrs. Nelson Randle.
Mrs. Caroline Randle, wife of Nelson Randle whose stroke with paralysis last Thursday eveningpia elsewhere related, lingered until 11:30 o’clock, Sunday night, June 27th and then passed quietly away without having given any evidence of returned consciousness. She has been in poor health for many years and at the point of death at various times. Her sufferings have been great, but endured with a patience oomparitively still greater.
She was born in Barkley tp., this county, June 28th, 1848, and her age at death was 54 years and one month. Her parents were the late Headley Brown, and Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, who survives her.
She was married to Nelson Randle, Feb. 14th, 1865. He survives her, and also 4 of the 6 children born 'to them. Namely Mrs. J. N. Leatherman, Edward and James and Miss Carrie Randle. So also do six sisters and one brother, Mesdames Henry Randle, J.L. Brady, R. B. Harris, 0. W. Coen and Rebecca Porter of Rensselaer, and Minerva Karsner. of Oroville, Cal., and George Brown, of Knox, I nd.
The funeral will be held at the residence, on Main street, at 11:30 a. m. Tuesday, by Rev. T. A. Hall of the Christian church. Interment will be at the Brown cemetery in Barkley tp.
The deceased had been a faithful member of the Christian church for 27 years.
