Leroy Templeton’s Big Damages.
Leroy Templeton has practically lost all of his crop in Newton county says the Fowler Republican A syndicate of landowners adjoining him cut an SB,OOO dredge ditch through the rim of a great basin and let in the water from thousands of acres. His crops are ruined Acres of fine oats are in such condition that they may never be out. Mr. Templeton requested the syndicate some time ago to be careful, with the water, but they paid no attention to his demands and the damage was done before he realized it. He is probably damaged frjm $12,000 to $15,000 worth. Messrs. Fraser & Isham will file suit fur him in the Newton Circuit Court at an errly day.
