V | "On Monday morning of this week Judge Test came to town to take a seat on the bench, in place of Judge Osborn, who could not attend. He walked into the court room early and asked bailiff John Sheehan where the sheriff was, and the bailiff didn’t know. Mr. Test then took a seat in the Judge’s chair, and Sheehan thinking him an imposter said to him, ‘come but of that old man, that’s the Judge’s seat,’ and the sheriff came in just in time to save Judge Test from being thrown out, as bailiff Sheehan had his bristles up and had taken Test by the collar.”
