Birthday Party.

Aunt Mary Lowman wife of Wm. Lowman, of south Barkley tp., was 69 years old Sunday and the event was celebrated by a large gathering of friends and relatives, namely: Wash Scott and wife, Carey McDonald, wife and 4 children, Wm. Gilmore, wife and daughter, Jas. Moore and wife. Wm. R. Bull wife and 5 daughters, Fred Hauze and Miss Belle Crail, Mrs. Wm. Potts and daughter Agnes, Mrs. Sarah Platt, and 8. B. Jenkins with his wheel. Or 61 in all without counting the wheel, because on account of the rain "Fet” had to walk home and wheel the wheel. Everybody greatly enjoyed the affair, and especially the big dinner that was one of thg principal features.
