J. W. Cowden’s Funeral.

The funeral of James W. Cowden was held at Trinity M. E. church at 11 o’clock a. m. Tuesday. Rev. C. D. Royse conducted the religious servi *es at the church and Ircquois (Lodge, I. O. O, F had charge of the burial services at the cexetery, according to the funeral rites of the order. The funeral was largely attended. Interment was made in Weston cemetery. The pallbearers were W. J. Imes, R. B. Harri’, W. M. Hoover, Smith Newell, Wm. Washburn, and Nehemiah Hopkins. Those attending the funeral from elsewhere were besides Mrs. Cowden and daughter Dessa, from Logansport, their other daughter Mrs. Manley Burk and husband, from _Cass Co., and a friend of the family, Mr. McKinzie, also from Logansport. Also Elijah Cowden and Mrs. “Sarah Wiggins, of Coshocton, Ohio, brother and sister of the deceased.
