Wheatfield Farmers Organize.
An account of a farmers’ meeting at Wheatfield Center school house, July sth, with copies of resolutions adopted, has been sent to The Republican. M. J. Delehanty was chairman *and J. V. Meyers, secretary, The resolutions state that they believe the Threshers’ Union an '‘arbitrary and selfish” organization, and invite par- x ties not belonging to the union to do their work; and pledge them- j selves, in that case, to employ the non-union machine, even if a union machine offers to do the work at half price. The meeting proposes the following prices: 1| cents per bushel for oats, 3 cents for rye, 5 cents for bound buckwheat and 6 for loose. The resolutions are signed by 22 farmers.
