Arrested For Embezzlement.
Deputy Prosecutor Parkison and Constable Christie Vick were in Chicago Tuesday, and hoped to bring back with them one Sam Howard, under arrest on the charge of embezzlement. He was foreman on the Warren Springer ranch, in Walker tp„ this county, and Springer charges that he got away with about S4OO worth of his property. Springer has bad detectives on his track for some time and a few days ago be was nabbed in Chicago. He had a preliminary hearing in Chicago, Tuesday, and was held for the crime, but refused to come back to Indiana for trial without a requisition. Accordingly Mr. Parkison got up the papers and went down to Indianapolis last night to get the necessary requisition from Gov. Durbin.
