Over Ninety Years Old.
During Grandmother. O. G. Weathers’ recent visit to Lafayette, to attend her son-in-law, Robert Spaulding’s funeral, she visited her oldest brother, Nathan Stackhouse, who now lives in Lafayette. He was 90 years old the 12th of last May, but for tbe most part enjoys excellent health and the use of his faculties. His eyesight however has totally failed and he is now wholly blind. He informed Mrs. Weathers that if he could see well, he would be able to tend sor 6 acres of garden. Another member of the family who is still living at a very advanced age is Mrs. Weathers’ oldest sister, who lives in Missouri, and is past 88 years old.
