Sammis-Erwin Wedding.

Mr. Egbert C. Sam mis and Mr. L. Deaver Erwin were married Tuesday, July 15tb, at 5 o’clock p. m., by Rev. C. D. Royse, pastor of Trinity M. E. church. The ceremony took place in the rooms of the bride, in Mrs. Wm. Meyer’s house, on South Van Rensselaer street. It was strictly a private affair, and no one was present except the immediate parties and the bride’s two little girls. It is a second marriage for both parties. The bride only became a resident of our town very recently, and is a stranger to most of vur people, but is a cousin of Mrs. W. L. Wishard. Mr. Sam mis is a special agent of the agriobltural department at Washington, D. C., and to that city they will repair in a few days to make their home. Carnival Committees Appointed.
