For Bird Protection

The State Library has received a copy of the bulletin issued by the division of biological survey of the Agricultural Department at Washington by T. J. Palmer, containing a compilation of the laws for the protection of birds, other than game birds, in force in all of the states of this country. The Indiana Audubon S xsiety has a committee to secure legislation against the caging of wild birds, and it will pattern its proposed bill after the model bill in this bulletin, and other statutes included in it.
