Got a Very Pizen Critter.

An interesting specimen to be added to the high school museum, is a centipede, which O. O Sigler bsought from the Creek region of Indian Territory. It is preserved in alcohol, and is a large one. being inches long, It was caught alive by a Oreek Indian and taken by him to Mr. Sigler held between two flat stones. Centipedes are much like an enormous earwig in appearance. Their name moans hundred-feet, but the do not have more than 30 or 40 feet, but each foot ends in a long sharp olaw. They are also provided with sharp jaws. Their bite is very poisonous and it is also stated that if while crawling over a person if they are touched they will dig everyone of their sharp daws into the flesh, and that all the daws are poisonous, also. They are greatly dreaded in regions where they are found.
