Death of W. A. Royse.
W* T. Royse, of Indianapolis, died Friday morning at 7:30 o’clock after a lingering sickness of six years. He was seventy-|yo years old, and had been a resident of Indianapolis thirty-four years, thirty of which he had lived in the house in which be died, 1302 Olive street. Six years ago he suffered a stroke of apoplexy, aud was forced to retire from his active business interests. Previous to that time he had been prominent in insurance circles. He was the founder of the insurance order of the Tribe of Ben Hur, and until his sickness the president of the council, its controlling body. At one time he was an active A. O. U. W. member. He has six sons, |four of whom arejresidents of Indianapolis. They are the Rev. C. D. Royse, of Rensselaer; A. O. Royse, of Milwaukee; W. A., Harry E., Dr. James G. and Benjamin F. Royse, of Indianapolis. The funeral was held Mon day. Rev. Royse and wife are both in Indianapolis, to attend the funeral.
