More High Water Items.

High water reports continue to to come in. In fact there is mighty little doing now, except high water. In no place in the county, however is the high water worse than in the northwest corner of Jordan township in what is known as the Lamson neighborhood. There whole farms,of what are ordinarily among the best lands in Jasper county, are literally under water. The Jay, Thomas and Harley Lamson places, the L. H. Meyer and J. Foresman and various other places are practiaally all under water. People get about in boats and row over their submerged corn and oats fields and pastures, in from 3to 5 feet of water. In some oases down there, there is not enough dry land in the pastures for the cattle to stand on, and if the water does not go down soon it will become a serious problem how to keep the stock from starving.
