A 77th Birthday Dinner.
• Gen. Van Rensselaer Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, met Thursday afternoon at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Moore, to celebrate the 77th birthday of Mrs. Moore, who, as our readeis well known, is a real daughter of the Revolution. It is now the established custom of the Chapter to meet with Mrs. Moore every year on her birthday. There was a full attendance of the members of the chapter and many members of their families. Also four of Mr. and Mrs. Moore’s children, including Mrs- Isaac Morgan, of Kingman, Kans. Quite an extended program was rendered, including papers on various subjects, music etc. A fine supper was also; a feature of the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Moore have 27 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
