Another Old Time Building.
Unde Johh Makeever actirg for his daughter, Mrs. A. M. Stockton is preparing to build a large tenant house on the southeast oorner of Weston and Harrison streets. The old building now standing there, whioh is one of our few surviving buildings of the early 50ies, is being partly torn down, but the frame being still very well preserved a large part of the building will be moved back and turned around and be rebuilt as the kitchen and dining room of the new building. This building, as Unde John remembers, was ereoted by Geo. W. Terbnne, an early day blacksmith, in 1854. Mr. Terhune and wife, now.very advanced in age, are passing the evening of their lives at Garden City, Kans. It is Mr. Vfakeever’s intention to ultimately erect a second house on the lots, the two being identical with the two others on Cullen street and the still two others, all side by side, on Division street.
