Hanging Grove.
More rain, more rest. Edd Peregrine hitched up and went out to plow Monday morning and found so much water on the ground he decided to take a swim instead. Robert Drake is painting his new barn. English is getting ready for the thrashing season by giving his engine a new coat of paint. One of the largest crowds seen in this township for some time attended the exercises, given by the three Sunday Schools in the grove last Sunday. Lee Sunday School never did better, Parker Sunday School did unusually well for a school which
is yet in its infancy. Osborn held its own, but it is a very noticable fact that the musical department of that Sunday School has begun to use crutches. Henry Lee has gone to the springs for stomach trouble.
