Gifford. More ruin more rest. Mrs Fournier of Kniman was in Gifford last Thursday. Kiihu Crawford Iras bought him a new gopher. He says he is going to stir up the muck. Medaryville and Gifford played a game of ball last Sunday and Gifford got it in the neca to the tune of 12 ! to 2. George 1 ambert, one of the Indian braves, got his arm dislocate*! while organizing the redmen's lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Etihu Crawford and J Jaughter of this place were visiting j friends at Kersy last week. There will be baptizing here next Sunday, Rev. Byrd conducting. The people thiuk we need a marshal in Gifford. Miss Della Hanifoni carried off the prize a beautiful diamond ring from the show by about 100 votes.
