Work Begun on K. of P. Building.
Work on the new K. of P. Castle Hall, whioh will, next to the court house, be the finest and most expensive building in town, began bright and early last Monday morning, when a fores of men began excavating for the basement, and hauling away the dirt. W. F. Smith has the oontraot for the excavation. It will be 60 by 100 feet, and 9 feet in depth. The total in cubic yards is 2.300, or that many wagon loads Another oontraot already awarded is one for the stone for the basement and foundations, let to A. K. Yeoman, proprietor of the sand stone quarry, southeast of town.
