Teachers For Next Year.
It will be good news to tbe patrons of the public schools of Rons, selaer to learn that nearly all our entire present corps of teaohers will remain next year. And in the high school, unless some unlooked for obauges occur there will be uo obaDge at all. In the grades those who have indicated their intention to leave are Miss Cooper, the music teacher, will be succeeded by Miss PattOD, of Detroit, and Misses May, Howarth and Berry. Miss Cooper, we understand, will attend college. The plans of the others retiring, we are unable to give. Id tbe usual course of things, it might be expected that some of them are cherishing matrimonial ententious and there are said to be indications that suoh is the case. In connection with this news of the re-engagement of so many of our .high school force, we may say that Prof. Whitney, of Michigan University, who recently thoroughly inspected oar schools in the interest of his great uaiversity, has not yet made his formal report of his conclusions. He did, however, state to a member of our scluol board that in all his inspecting experience, he had found uo schools with a more able corps of teachers, nor very many with as good.
