The Street Fair Goes.
The project for a street fair here next August has already taken definite shape, and may be considered a settled fact. The Knights of Pythias took the matter up at their lodge meeting, Tuesday night, and decided to hold one, under their auspices. At the very start they put emphasis on the fact that no objectionable features will be permitted. A special effort however will be made to secure novel and attractive features, and one such very one may be already considered as assured. It is a duplication of the battle of San Hill by Company M. and at least two other military companies, from neighboring towns, as pledged by Capt. Washburn, of Company M. A committee to raise the necessary guaranteed fund was appointed, and is made of the following sure winners. T, J, McCoy, Geg. E. Murray and Jesse E, Wilson.
