Declamation Contest.

The second annual declamation contest with one contestant from each school corporation outside Marion and Rensselaer, will be held at 1:30 p. m at Rensselaer, Indiana on June 21st. 1902. Each constestant will be furnished with four free tickets. Five prizes will be given as follows: 1. For best declamation by boy within school age by Robert Parker, of Remington. 2. Best declamation for girl within school age by Cummings & Darroch, of Kentland. 3. Best declamation by persons between the age of 16 and 21 by Fred D. Gilman, of Gooodland. 4. Best between ages of 11 and 16 by Hanley & Hunt, of Rensselaer. 5. Between the ages of six and eleven Ferguson & Wilson, of Rensselaer. Contestants will be selected by the Trustee of the school corporation and will meet at the Makeover house at 11 a. m. and be famished with a free ride over the city as well as a hotel dinner.
