When Gundy Used the Gun.

The big three or four cornered drunken row in Rose Lawn along about the 9th ofdast August stands a good chance of being well aired in the next term of our circuit court. It will be remembered that i uring some stage of that interesting proceeding, one Wm. B. Hancock got pasted over the head with a gun barrel.in the hands of Reuben Gundy, and subsequent proceedings interested Hancock no more. He has now brought a suit, in the name of the State of Indiana, against Wm. Kight, keeper of a saloon at Rose Lawn, and his bondsmen, alleging in effect that it was at Kight’s place that Gundy got the boose with which Gundy if not his gun, was loaded.

It is alleged that Hancock’s skull was cracked by the jolt and also that it did not leave him feeling very well, himself; therefore damages in the amount of $2,000 are asked for. The case was begun in Newton county, and has just been sent here on change of venfie.
