Death of Joseph Brooks.

Joseph W. Brooks, whose long sickness with consumption has several times been mentioned, died Sunday at 3 o’clock p. in. at bis home in the east part of town. His age would have been 35 years bad he lived until next Friday. He was unmarried. Three brothers and three sisters, with whom he lived, survive him. His mother died about three years ago and his father a year earlier. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8 o’clock a. m., at the Missionary Baptist Church, by Rev. T. A. HaU. The remains will then be taken to Brook for inter- ’ ment.
