Darroch For Judge. Babcock For Prosecutor.

The democratic judicial convention was held at 1:30 on Thursday afternoon in the east court room. Newton county was fully represented, and Jasper county is said to have been also, but none of the Jasper men figure in the returns. T. A. Cunningham, of Newton chairman of the convention, and H. L, Sammons, of Newton Co., was secretary, Wm, Darroch, of Newton county, was nominated for Judge, and A. D. Babcock, of Newton County was nominated for prosecutor, both by acclamation. Both of the above convention officers, and the chief candidate are Kentland men, and the other candidate a Goodland man. And that is the way conventions should all be run, according to Brother Strohm.
