Home From California.

G. W. Goff arrived home from' his California trip Friday. He . was gone 3 weeks and 3 days, and found it a most interesting and instructive experience. He went out by the southern route, that is the Santa Fe R. R. through New Mexico and Arizona, and came back by one of the central routes, via the Southern Pacific to Salt Lake City, and to Denver by the Denver and Rio Grand. These routes took him to many interesting places, but also through a vast extent -of desert region. To express his own ideas of the country he traveled-over it was about 10 per cent, heaven and 90 per cent, hades. The cities of 'Southern California and their immediate surroundings especially drew his admiration, such as Los Angeles, Riverside, Redlands and Passedena.
