M. F. Chilcote’s Funeral.

The funeral services of the late Capt. M, F. Chiloote were held Friday afternoon, at the Presbyterian church. The attendance was very large and the services very impressive and appropriate. Rev. A. G. Work conducted the religious services, while the burial rites were performed by Prairie Lodge, F. and A. M., of which the deceased had long been a prominent member, Other orders which attended in bodies were Guthridge Post G. A. R. of which Mr. Ohilcote was a charter member, Rensselaer Post G. A. R. of which he had formerly been a member and Rensselaer Lodge, K. of P. The pall bearers were John Eger, W. J. Imes, J. M. Wasson, J. W. Williams, J. H. 8. Ellis, D. H. Yeoman, A. K. Yeoman and James Matheson. The floral offerings were many and very fine and appropriate. Burial was made in the family lot, in Weston cemetery.
