Higher Standard Required.
The recent closing of the Ft. Wayne recruiting station was due to orders received from Adjutant General Johnson by the Indianapolis office ordering the close of all branch recruiting stations. Soldiers appear to be plentiful, and now only high class recruits over 21 years of age are taken. Heretofore boys over 18 years have been accepted.
