Another Sensation At Fair Oaks.
I Fair Oaks has been all torn up ' over a supposed elopement, one party to which has been a resident of that town a long time. It is ' Mrs. Hattie Kesler, wife of El 1 Kesler. She left there, very unexpectedly, last Wednesday afternoon, and it was the general presumption that she had gone with an old lover of hers named Yeagley. This report however was erronious as Yeagley is still at DeMotte, working on the railroad. She was married to Mr. Kesler about two years ago, and those well acquainted with the codpie say that they have been living unhappily for some time. She is still quite young, not over 20, and her husband is 15 years or more older. Mrs. Kesler was Miss Linter, and belonged to an estimable family which formerly lived near Stoutsburg. What specially led to the conclusion that Mrs, Kesler had gone with Yeagley was that he bad a talk with her by telephone the morning she left.
