The City Council.
The clerk was ordered to prepare a duplicate.of street assessment, and to turn it over to the city treasurer for collection instead of the county treasurer as heretofore. Phillip Blue was granted permission to tap Rutsen street seWer. The order on the road fund issued Jan. 27, for $2,999.47 for the city’s share of the street improvement, has not been paid for want of funds. It was arranged to rethis order with four others, for $2,000, $312.47, $330, and $330. respectively, which will be paid off as fast as funds accumulate, and draw interest at 6 per cent until paid. Judges and inspectors for. the ensuing city election were appointed as follows. First Ward; judge C. D. Noweh, inspectors, C. J. Dean, H J. Kannal. Second Ward; judge D. A. Stoner, inspectors H. B. Murrav, C. O. Warner. Third Ward; judge Lucius Strong, inspectors E. A. Aldrich, J. R. Wilcox.' . ~The sum nf $760 was transfered from the corporation fund to the road fund. A large list of claims were allowed.
