Schemers Get the Marble Heart Again.

Chairman Little and Editor Strohm were down at Indianapolis one day recently, trying to interest the Republican state committee in the Newton county side on the judgeship controversy. They told their side of the story, and of course {float nothing in the telling. Then Chairman Goodrich wrote up here'and Chairman Warner gave him the straight of it. The result was that Mr. Goodrich wrote back to the effect that there was nothing irregular or requiring the interference of the state committee in the matter, and to go ahead with the convention.
