Death of Fred Lang.

Fred Lang, of Surrey, one of the county’s best known citizens, died suddenly about 6 o’olock Tuesday evening, April 1st, being found dead in an outbuilding, to which he had gone about 15 minutes before. The cause of his death was ascribed by Dr. Berkley who was called, to the bursting of a blood vessel in the brain. His death was probably practically instantaneous. His health had previously been about as usual, except that since last Friday he had not been feeling entirely well. His age was 73 years the 2nd of last February. As it happened quite a family re-union had been held that day, and all of his children were present when he died except one son, Thomas Lang, of Indianapolis, who arrived Wednesday. The funeral was held at the residence, Thursday at 10 a. m. by Rev. B. F. Ferguson. Interment was made at Rensselaer in Weston cemetery. --
