A 16 Year Old Money Order.

If Unole Sam paid 6 per cent, interest on postal office money orders until presented for payment, there is one now in the hands of Postmaster Meyer on which the interest would be as large as the principal. It was issued at Williamsport, IncL, Oct. 15, 1886, or nearly 16 years ago. It is for two dollars, and was prooured by Robert C. Dowler, now of our city, and sent to his old army captain at San Antonio, Tex-, to pay for a pension affidavit. The captain was dead before the letter reaohed him, end the order lay among his old letters until a few days ago, when the administrator found it and returned it to Mr. Dowler. It will be sent to the postmaster at Williamsport, who will issue a duplicate, and upon this Mr, Dowler will finally get his two dollars baok
