Goodland Scorched Again.
Goodland had another bad fire, i last Saturday night. It started in C. E. Burgess’ hardware store which was wholly destroyed, with its contents. Toyne’s grocery, the post- office building, the Goodland . bank and Stoin?fr department store ■ were also burned. In all but the j hardware store the contents were I mostly saved. The loss is estimated at $35,000, of which $25,000 was , in the hardware building and stock. Most of the property was fairly well insured. Good land has no waterworks system, but needs one badly enough. This makes three considerable fires, within a year, if rightly remembered, and numerous ones further back.
