Death of Mrs. Emily Seber.
A very sudden and quite unexpected death occured Monday evening, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Amzie Laßue, on River street, in the demise of Mrs. Emily Seber. wife of F. W. Seber, and mother of Mrs. Laßue. She has been sick for about two months, or ever since she and her busband came from Colfax, in the state of Washington, to visit their daughter. She had lately been much better, however, so that she was up and about the house considerable, that day. She was also so much better that at her insistence Mr. Seber had started for Milford, 111., to visit a brother. Shortly before six o’clock her condition became alarming, from her heart action, and a physician was hastily called, but she lived only a few minutes after his arrival, her death occuring shortly after six o’clock. The physician attributed her death to the breaking of an abscess on the lungs. She would have been 68 years old the 24th of this month. She leaves, besides her husband, • a large family of sons and daughters, but all of whom are living in Washington except Mrs. Sadie Laßue. They formerly lived in Benton county, but went to Washington about 20 years ago. Mr. Seber was recalled, from his trip to Milford, arriving this, Tuesday, morning. The remains will be taken to Milford, for burial, but brief funeral services will be held at the residence, Wednesday, at’9 a. m. by Rey. 0. D. Royce.
