The Prince Is None Too Pretty.
Orlo Abbott, the young man from Appleton, W T is., who filled the role of bridegroom at the wedding at G. L Thornton’s. Thursday stopped at Milwaukee, on his way down, Tuesday, long enough to get a couple of good looks at Prince Henry, who was there that day. receiving the honors of the city and doubtless sampling ‘‘the beer that made Milwaukee famous.” Mr. Abbott says the prince is not, by any means, such a slick and smooth and lily-white looking gent as the pictures in the newspapers portray him to be. He is dark and rugged of features, and tanned as a practical sailor should be. There is also a look of sternness about his features, such as might be expected of a prince of that most imperious and war-like of reigning families, the Hohenzollerns of Prussia.
