Charged With Stealing Stack of Straw.

John Stowers, of near Fair Oaks was brought down Tuesday evening charged ya ith larceny. Ed Cull charges him with stealing a stack of straw. Stowers claims he bought it. It seems they bad been negotiating for a deal in straw-stacks, and Cull had named his price. He’olaims that Stowers did not say he would take it, and that no money was paid. Cull then sold part of the stack to another man and got the money. But when the other man went after the straw, it was non est, as Strower had hauled it away. Stower gave bonds for his appearance on Thursday of next week.
