A Newton County Couple.

A young couple from Newton county were married just before noon, today, Tuesday, Feb. 25th, 1902 by Squire Jacob M. Troxell in the parlor of the Makeever House. Mr. Lewis Zobrdsky aged 27 and a farmer by occupation, was the groom, and Miss Ella Burns, aged 21 was the bride. They both gave Newton county as their birth-place and present residence, and their license was issued by the clerk of Newton county. They said they lived near Raub, which would take them near the south end of the county. It is surmised that their matrimonial trip over here was in the nature of an elopement.
