Death of Mrs. Elias Hammerton.

Mrs. Lucinda Hammerton, wife of Elias Hammerton, died about 11 o’clock last Saturday night, Feb. 22nd, 1902, at tjieir home on Park street, north of the railroad. She bad been in poor health a long time, from chronic bronchitis but bad been about the house as usual, all day Saturday, and went to bed in her usual health. Towards 11 o’clock her lungs began filling up, and though a physician was hastily called, he could do nothing to arrest the progress of the attack, and at about 11 o'clock she expired. Her age was 59 years, 6 months and 22 days. The funeral will be held Tuesday. at Trinity M. E. church, at 10:30 a. m., by Rev. C. D. Royse. Interment will be in Weeton cemetery.
